Angela Pancrazi Moreno has been a dedicated public servant, committed to advancing the financial health and stability of Yuma County since she was first elected as County Treasurer in 2012. Her tenure has been marked by a strong emphasis on fiscal responsibility, excellent customer service, and the pursuit of operational efficiency. Angela’s dedication is rooted in her belief that the responsible management of taxpayer dollars is a cornerstone of good governance.
With a bachelor’s degree in economics and a decade of experience in the mortgage industry, Angela brings deep knowledge of property taxes and banking practices to her role. Her understanding of these areas has been instrumental in safeguarding Yuma County’s finances and developing innovative programs that make tax collection more efficient while ensuring that taxpayers have the resources they need to comprehend their property tax bills.
Angela’s expertise is further validated by her status as a Certified Government Investment Professional (CGIP). Through her leadership, Yuma County’s investment strategies have improved, generating additional income without increasing taxes. Her commitment to professional growth is evidenced by her Chancellor’s Certification in Public Administration as a Finance Professional from the University of Missouri.
Beyond her responsibilities as Treasurer, Angela has taken on key leadership roles that influence county and state-level fiscal policies. She is a past President of the Arizona County Treasurer’s Association and serves as a Board Member for the Arizona Association of Counties. Her involvement extends nationally as the Treasurer of the Board for the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers, and Finance Officers.
Angela’s community engagement is not limited to her professional role. She is a former board member of Catholic Community Services, where her commitment to serving others shines through. Her vision for the future is one where Yuma County remains financially strong, with efficient and transparent government operations that reflect the needs and values of its residents.
